PALM, Inc. 1999 to 2002 Senior Quality Engineer for Global Supply Chain Responsible for the assessment, audit and quality management of all suppliers including CEM’s, pack-out facilities and distribution sites throughout the world. Responsible for the strategic and tactical quality of all products, including the manufacturing of all plastic parts, from NPI to end-of-life. Created and published the Global Supply Chain’s, Supplier ‘s Manual based on ISO 9000 specifications. Brought established contractors from 78 percent first pass yield to an assured 98 percent. Using Six Sigma statistical analysis in a metrics format with associated corrective actions, established a path of continuous improvement.
